Hackshack Labs Announces Crow Safety: Surveillance for the Watchers

Crow Safety builds a network of discreet ALPR cameras, video sensors, Bluetooth sniffers, and AI profiling tools installed across cities and neighborhoods. Instead of watching citizens, the system watches those who represent them: tracking where officials go, who they meet, when they come home. It logs every arrival, every departure, every stop along the route home. Spouses at the doctor. Children at school events. The system knows.

The Idea That Started With a City Council Meeting

Crow Safety was inspired by a viral moment in Casa Grande, Arizona, where Jacob Petrosky stood before city council members and pitched "Shepherd Safety" — a surveillance system that would monitor the council themselves. His reveal: "I would never do this to you. Could I? Probably. But I wouldn't because it's wrong. Just like what you guys are doing to us is wrong."

The 200 cameras approved for Casa Grande — capturing license plates, bumper stickers, minor damage, geo-tagged and searchable by 5,000+ law enforcement agencies — became the template Crow Safety will reverse. Where Flock Safety watches the public, Crow Safety watches the watchers.

How Crow Safety Works

The system deploys three layers of monitoring:

• ALPR Cameras: Discreetly mounted on streetlights, utility poles, and building corners, capturing every vehicle that passes — including the official's daily commute
• Bluetooth Sniffers: Picking up signals from phones, car keys, and smart devices to build comprehensive movement profiles
• AI Profiling: Machine learning models that analyze patterns, detect anomalies, and flag unusual activity in real time

Everything is stored securely. Access is controlled. The system doesn't just watch — it remembers, learns, and connects the dots.

Going Forward
